Title: 2-17-15
Post by: Philbie on February 18, 2015, 02:21 AM
Ended with 14 keepers.  Very slow start as we focused on the the trees early, wrong thought process.  Late morning we focused more on the eastside of the lake just past the bouy line.  Huge improvement.  Most fish caught in 15-19' of water on skirted jigs tipped with minoows.  My best guess is that the majority were caught in 10' or less (my dad schooled me today or he just got lucky).

We found the bites picked up when the wind did.  Most people bailed when it got a little breezy.  We stuck it out and it paid off for use.  Heard from another angler that the water temp was between 58 and 62 depending to the time of day.

Lauching was pretty easy but the Cholla ramp is closed.  Had to use the ramp closer to the dam.
