Where does a guy find these rods? I'll be down in Tempe over thanksgiving and can maybe hit Bass Pro. Im new here so will appreciate any help.

I didn't find much at the local stores for longer rods. I used the one posted in this thread:

Bass Pro has several different ones.
I find 16's hard to use on my small boat. I've tried 11s and 12s also. I fish 10's now and have for years.

My choice in Crappie rods are either B'n'M Rods or Southern Crappie Rods. Great rods plus customer support if needed. Very easy to get replacement tips if you happen to break one. I broke one of my B'n'M tips at Alamo one time (my fault not the rods) called on a Monday & had the replacement tip by Thursday.
Here's the links www.bnmpoles.com Their Pro Staff Trolling (PST) rods for either long lining (mine are 12') or spider rigging. Get them with yellow painted high visibility tips.
As Oneblade posted, Southern Crappie Rods http://southerncrappierods.com I have one of their 14' Ed's a good guy to deal with.
