Piscolli comes from the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Sean Penn's character was Spicolli. In high school my buddy from the Phillipines said I was just like him but he couldn't say Spicolli to save his life. Instead he said Piscolli and it stuck.
What does your screen name mean?

"Silver48" stands for the age I was, when I realized my gray hair was irreversible! Am thinking of changing my name to the "Cod Father", as I have lived and fished on both the east and west coasts and love cod.

Spent 30 years in the Kansas City area and enjoy trolling for trout. Haven't tried trolling for crappie yet but looking forward to giving it a shot.

That is where my lures usually end up when casting plus it is how I like my cocktail after the fishing trip :notworthy:

My name? It's cause "I like turtles" (http://http://www.maniacworld.com/i-like-turtles.jpg)
Actually, my name clearly means that I'm a freak for fishing... but the spelling I use would make it appear that I do hacking. (Which I don't) I'm just a network administrator turning web designer. Phishing = trying to get info out of people in a malicious way. Phreek = hacking phone systems (Which, again, I don't do either of those. Just sounded perfect since my job is to stop both of them haha :bootyshake:)

Haha, I love that name!!!! Cod Father would be awesome. :)

I spent 10 years on the Texas coast wadefishing, it is my passion. It's stealth fishing for tailing redfish, trout and flounder in the flats.
-
My name here is based on my "other" hobby, namely hot rods. I have 3 projects in my garage now in various states, a '29 Ford Model A Coupe (Nice driver), a 1938 Dodge Business Coupe (Street rod about 75% complete), and a 1956 Dodge Pickup that I am doing as a budget build up. I also have a '70 Mustang here at the house that my son and I built together. So I am a "Gear Head" and I always will be .

Years ago, my wife and I had Missouri Fox Trotter horses and were trying to breed for Gaited red mules...
What the hell does that have to do with fishing??? Don't know... Just the handle I have had for years...
-
It is obvious, bow hunting is my real passion, but I love fishing "almost as much". At 68 I think I need to keep hunting as long as the Lord blesses me with the physical ability, when I can no longer do the archery thing, then fishing will become my #1 recreational pass time!
Lots of old MN guys on here, me too!

I was "crowbarrd" on the Zone, and since we moved, I decided to start fresh with a new handle.
Halibut Warriors we were called because we harpooned fish that were 80 to 300 lbs. before we put them onboard. We'd drag them around till they bled out and became docile enough to handle. The "Halibut Warrior" was the name of my first boat, actually a 18' skiff that I started my fishing career in Alaska in 1978 as my own Captain. People started calling me that so I painted the name on my transom, like the big boys did.. Targeted halibut, herring, salmon, shrimp, crab, and hunted from it. I'm standing in it holding up a couple of red king crab in my avatar. Lots of memories, fish blood , hairball storms and stories for the campfire to share. Nuf said, lets go fishin'...Joe

"BloodyDuck".....Well lets say it was a full moon night. Glass lake. I'm flying and watching my GPS as I speed to the ramp to load up. OUT OF NO Fudging where water and DUCKS are flying by my head. Some of the ducks must not have flown fast enough. :crybaby2: The 2 is just a 2 it has no meaning.

I honor one of my best friends who died a few years back from cancer. We rode a lot of years together and had a blast. His business for most of his life was called "Kicked Back Motor works" and was from California, I miss him. He did not fish but knew everything about HD'S and made a livin at it for over 30 years.
