Finally something to report! Kasey and I fished the Tonto end Monday morning and boated 7 very nice crappie. We had 1 male and 6 jumbo females full of eggs and lost a big female at the boat. All came long line trolling Lake Fork Baby Shad in four different colors tipped with a minnow 8 to 11 feet down in 26 to 30 feet of water at .8 to 1 mph. We then went and caught a couple of bass drop-shotting before the wind blew us off the water about 1:30. Water temp 55 at 7 a.m. and 62 at 1:30. It shouldn't be too long! Oh yea, Rambo caught 4 crappie casting in the middle of the lake casting in four feet of water including a 2 1/4 lb. male! .......Art

Thanks for the report, Art!
Hopefully the crappie turns on soon or in the next few weeks once the weather warm up some more. We'll try to hit Rosy again for that 7-10 days window of opportunity for some great action.
