Hopefully, this is a malfunction of the metering systems rather than a malfunction of the dam gates that let it go dry the last time.

40' in a week doesn't seem possible

need to ck the river flows below the lake for the last week or so that will tell you if it happened which would mean they released incredible amount of water.

It looks like there was a glitch with the National Water Information web readout for the San Carlos dam metering, but now that they have that site fixed, it still looks very grim.

lake still at 95000 aacre feet losing about 500-1000 per day. was at 250000 earlier this year. ballparkin.
