It looks like this may be the year she dries up.
-
they stopped releases a month ago, there is some water coming in now with the rain up in the mountains northeast, did hear there was a fish die off in progress?
-
I've heard nothing. I may drive up there this weekend and take some pics.
-
That other fishing forum has a report that fish have been dying for over a week and the water level at the dam is 8'

Not sure if this was posted before or not but a couple weeks ago on the SC Tribe website said that no permits were required for SC Lake. Now it says that San Carlos Lake is closed to all recreational activities. The notice is on the right side of the page & when you click on the link, you just get the notice in a larger view. No further info is given. Not sure if that includes driving to the dam & taking pics or not.

There were posts on the zone last year of dead fish everywhere and we saw no signs of that. When we were there in Sept the deepest water we found was 9.5'. I really want to go check it out.

Would stink to drive down there only to find road gated off. You wouldn't want to get in any legal trouble there. Need someone close by to give a drive by.

:ecomcity:One of the service managers at Big O tire in globe has a Buddy who lives by the store at the landing and fishes it a lot and keeps track of whats happening. I don't have the number there as I'm in Idaho right now, but someone may call Big O there and ask about it. I know he has AZcrappie on his fave's and also Bass Zone. Just saying
