Title: Bartlett 12/7
Post by: AZFishing03 on December 09, 2018, 08:11 AM
Fished from about 9:30-2:00 Friday - maybe only saw one other boat the entire time.

I bought some live minnows for the first time and fished with them until about noon with no success at all - must be doing something wrong.   Switched it up to a green grub and caught a few right away.  Was fishing 10-15ft of water trying to stay on structure.  Slow day for sure.

You guys all went to Bartlett yesterday for the club meeting - Any reports??

Probably not doing anything wrong. You fished structure with minnows and adjusted midway through and caught some.  Sounds good to me.  One of the club member's report from yesterday is here: http://www.azcrappie.com/forum/index.php/topic,3885.0.html
Seems like we were just getting out of a low pressure system last week perhaps you were affected by that as well.

Fishing was spotty at best for some and poor for others.  DS minnows and slow troll double jigs tipped with a minnow is what we looked like.  Nice job in the yak for sure.
