This is the big annual fall event of the AZCA. It is an open meeting, fishing trip and camp out for all registered users of azcrappie.com, not just AZCA members. If your not already an official AZCA member, this would be a great chance for you to meet some of the crew and see is the AZCA is for you.
I personally want to thank you for your participation on azcrappie.com. If you have any questions about our club that you don't find the answer for here on our site, feel free to contact me or any of our club officers.
Attached are the form you will need to camp and/ or fish in the derby.
Here is a list of things going on at that weekend's event:
Friday 3 pm- Non AZCA members who are camping with us can come into the group site (Goose Loop) and set up their camp site.
Friday 5 pm- The AZCA will provide the charcoal for an open BBQ/ grill dinner. There are 2 massive grills with plenty of room for whatever yall bring to cook.
Saturday 6 am- Fishing Derby, see Matt or Ray to enter.
Saturday 3 pm- Weigh in back at the group site, announce this year's "Chamberlin Cup" champions.
Saturday 4 pm- Open AZCA Meeting held by president Bill Eveland and VP Tom Larson, words from Art Chamberlin, words from Steve and the Hirsch family.
Saturday 5 pm- Fish cleaning, fish fry and pot luck dinner begins
Sunday 8 am- pack out begins, everyone has to be out no later than noon or when the last AZCA member leaves the site.
The AZCA is proud to announce this year's honored guest Steve Hirsch and family. Please introduce yourself to them, they are an important part of the AZCA family.

Please download and print the forms so you can have them ready when you arrive.

Wish I could make it to defend our title from last year but it's not looking promising!

The 2013 BHCC has been moved to Alamo. See: http://www.azcrappie.com/forum/index.php/topic,1964.0.html

Hey, thanks, Hawk... I could probably choke down a Walleye... :headbang:
-
I will bring a bag of walleye too. Do we need friers? Sat dinner is fish fry and potluck right?
-
I've got a feeling that there will be plenty of fish caught since the lake has had very little pressure this summer. Ill bring some walleye fillets as well but doubt we will need them.

since it's not our group site we don't need camping forms

No camping forms, but great form camping... :bootyshake:

Man me and JuJu are getting excited.

Was typing away and lost every thing. The Merlot Kid and I won't be able to make the BHCC. We plan on being there for the Spring Crappie Fest, Lake Powell if every thing is still a go at that time. Have a goodda one Freshwater

All, don't forget your radios tuned to channel 7-1. I'll be up there Friday late morning.

Congradulations to Team Wadefisherman! Enjoy the cup for a year. Hopefully Team Chamberlin can take another shot at it next year? .......Art, Jeff, and Kasey
-
Congrats guys, sorry I missed it.
-
Way to go team Wadefisherman and all the rest. Looks like a good time had by all. At least one fish didn't win the whole thing. Good to see some nice bags weighed in.
-
looks like a nice setting, glad the weather cleared up after thursdays wind and rain, congrats to Brian, I just worry we will loose alamo if the corp decides to dump it this winter for dam repairs.
-
Just wanted to thank everyone for a great time... Piscoli Bill, you da man... Matt, good job, as always, with the tourney and fish fry... Oh yeah, and to Brian for letting me ride (and nap) on his boat... I joke with Brian a lot just because it dives him nuts, but seriously, could not ask for a better partner...
Congrats to Tommy and the rats for Big Fish... Knew you had it in you... You did eat that fish at the fry, didn't you?
-
Nice job to all the winners. Brian top notch fisherman . Hope to get out there soon. Thanks for all posts.
-
Congrats to all the winners (big fish, derby winners and drawing winners) Looks like there were some nice fish caught with different techniques. Wished I could of joined but hunting season got in the way. Glad you all got out for a nice weekend of camping, fishing, pot luck, and hanging with a good group people. That is the big win right there all else is icing on the cake.
