We fished today from 7:30 until 2 on a very busy Tonto end (Bassjunkz two day championship) . We caught 6 lm bass on a drop-shot minnow rig and 2 very nice black male crappie swimming a crappie jig on back to back casts. ........Art

I'm heading up today after work , I will be fishing the salt end of the lake , thank you for the report .

Thanks Art, maybe it is starting to happen?

I think we are 2 to 3 weeks out , the males tails are not beat up , and most of the fish I'm getting are still in to 10 feet of water .

Thanks Art, I'm trying to decide if I'm going to fish Roosevelt next Fri or not. Seems like I could spend Fri at one end of the lake and Sat on the other side. Is water clarify still different between Tonto and Salt?

Thanks, as always, for the report Art

Thanks guys! Matt, I don't think water color is an issue although the Tonto is clearer than the Salt. .....Art
