Hey all, I'm fairly new to crappie fishing in Az. I've been out a few times with a friend of mine on his boat to Roosevelt and we've always done very well. I personally don't own a boat and my wife has been wanting to try fishing. Any lakes better for shore type crappie fishing or has anyone had success doing so? We're looking to try somewhere towards the end of March / early April.

If you are doing well at roosevelt you dont need our help :notworthy:. You are a crappie master already.
I have caught crappie from shore at tempe town lake, and Apache many years ago. Talked to lady fishing from shore at Alamo on Wed thats said she knocked em dead a few weeks ago when the fishing was hot.

I have to agree with tweeder. Rosey can be a tough place to fish for me anyways. I would personally go to Alamo for some shore fishing. March threw April has is gonna be hot out their for fishing. Once all the debris settles and water clears up GAME on for all fishing.
