Title: Hello In search for ideas

I’m new to crappie fishing 🎣 so I’m Not trying to gets anyone’s honeyhole but how far you go on Bartlett to get crappie I was pass jack cove and only got one on 14 hours of fishing

When they are not open water schooling, I think it’s more about the right depth and type of tree then physical location.   Few weeks back, Alder cove down lake was a hot spot...now it’s dead. Yellow Cliff area is always a good bet. Lately way, way up river in newly covered trees has been good (due to the high water). Right now, the 22–18 depth on thick timber trees seem to be holding them. Nobody this year seemed to find huge #’s of spawning fish, but many I caught this weekend we’re already spawned out females. So who knows.  Good luck.
