Title: Roosevelt 10/19
Post by: Art Chamberlin on October 19, 2018, 04:52 PM
Fished today from 6:45 until 2:15 on four different habitats. They started slow but picked up as the day went on and we ended up with 27 crappie, 2 catfish, and 1 bluegill. The minnow tipped jig out fished the drop-shot rig two to one with most all the fish coming in 25 to 30 feet of water. .......Art

Wow, nice job Art 27 crappie that's great you have the lake really dialed in.  Are those all keepers?

Two little guys but most in the 11 inch range or so. The last six were real good ones maybe a pound and a half to a pound and three quarters. Lots a fun though! .......Art

That's great. Interesting how fishing at Roosevelt has changes significantly since the long line trolling days of years past.  I wish all of this recent rain would have gotten the water level back up near Schoolhouse area to get that whole area back up in depth.
