Saturday after the weigh in and club meeting we will have our 2013 Bob Hirsch Crappie Classic fish fry and pot luck dinner! Everyone please bring something to share. I will be making Beef Vindaloo with sirloin and onions.
We need 2 couple volunteers to fry the fish. Who wants to take care of that?
-
I'll bring my stove and can fry fish. I also bring firewood for one night's fire. I plan to BBQ Friday night at my site C19 or wherever the group is mingling.
-
sounds good vindaloo for 20 peeps. I vote that this be designated the "chowda" of this years bhc and that the club pick up this tab. do you have a big enough pot my musically challenged brother?
-
Just got back from WI,,,, hope the fishing is better here. I have C24 reserved for Saturday night. I will bring cucumber salad (sweet sour and creamy).
-
So, I'll be bringing my kids and another 2 family friends of mine coming up. Looks like a party! Brian, are you making your fried potato wedges?
Might need one more frier for the fish and bring fish if you have it. You are welcome to use my stove if you bring another fry pan, oil, and possibly propane tank as not sure how much left in mine.
-
Matt, Brian is bringing his fryer and some oil, along with some Walleye... I'll throw in a big pot for fish fry, if needed...
Are you going to have enough room?

Are you going to have enough room?
I just have a camp chef stove with 2 30k burners. I can fit a good sized cast iron pan (14-16" diameter?) on one burner and room for another similar sized on the other side. Another stove might help but I suppose doesn't matter. I'll keep up with Brian :-)
-
"I'll keep up with Brian", he says... :3some:
Good luck with that...
-
I'll bring good sized plates, forks, and napkins for the group. If you have soup or other 'bowl' type foods, you'll have to bring those and spoons.
-
I'm going to bring some game sausage for the weekend, can be cooked either Friday or Saturday. It doesn't look like I need to bring a grill so I'll bring a bag of charcoal.
And I will help with filleting, frying or whatever else needs to be done. My cousin Anthony will be in to help as well.
Look forward to seeing the group and hopefully some new faces! Good Luck!

Definitely looking forward to the wild game... Thank you, my man... :3some:

I'm lucky to have it and happy to share it.
As of now I'm bringing 1 vac bag of about 6-8 sausages because menrats, mrokusek and redmule are the only folks that showed interest so far.
Please let me know if you would like some sausage and I would be happy to bring a second bag, I have plenty. This includes any new faces coming out too!
