Title: Wild willie
Post by: wadefisherman on May 08, 2015, 12:24 PM
Willie started hospice today, just got done visiting him. He doesn't look good @ all, anyone wants to call him don't delay because it doesn't look like he will be with us much longer. Sad times 😞

Tried calling after Brian let me know what the deal was and talked to his daughter.  She said he was weak and resting so she didn't let me talk to him.  I'm going to try again in the morning before I go to work and see if he is felling a little better.

He's going down fast 😞 I'm afraid he's not to far from the ghost. He's bed ridden & pretty much out of it.

I just got off the phone with his buddy Gabe. He said Willie didn't want a funeral but they will be taking his ashes to Alamo in a few weeks and will let me know the details.

It's hard to say too much without knowing him very well but it is obviously clear he had a big impact on all of you as a friend and fellow fisherman. I wish him, his family, and all of you some peace in knowing he isn't suffering. RIP Willie.
