Bruce i have almost the same thing only i do have single rod holders on each side and no zebco

zebco is for casting fast and often fighting off poachers ;D ;D, Billy told me about the Delta zebco other than being heavier it is a nice smooth reel can't wait to try it more this spring.

I have those expensive rod holders back home,,, don't like them. You have to reach for your rod and slide it out OVER the water,, then bring it back in. Here is what I did here in AZ. I started with a 5 inch piece of heater hose with a slit cut in it. That kinda worked until you hooked a bass! So I went to a 5 inch piece of PVC with a 3/4 inch slot cut into it. Now when I get a bite I can bring the rod TOWARDS ME and lift it up. Sure do like this system.
