This is the minnows thread:

D&R Baits at US60 and Greenfield is another option.  Just a guy out of his house running it.  I've had some issues but others have had no problem.

I realize this may be close to Blasphemy on this forum and I do not intend to hi-jack the thread, but, while we are talking about getting bait,,,,,, where can a guy find water dogs in the phoenix area?

Props Plus had some 2-3 inchers that were trying to die in the tank.  other than that, I have not been able to find any.

appreciate your help

You should call them up first.  I doubt they get much turnaround so call just to make sure they have the amount you need.  The times I've got them there they had bumps on them but all survived fine.  Piscolli had different story (see above) with his use of them.

did the bumps on them effect the pace of catching fish?

I don't know.  It was Bartlett lake and I went from catching 1 or 2 to catching 1 or 2.  Not sure that matters.  Could say fish wouldn't want to eat a sickly minnow, but then could argue fish would go for the straggler, injured minnow as it's easy prey.  I'd use them if I was to go to Bartlett before the marina store there opened otherwise you could try D&R baits and good luck on that one.
