Roosevelt 2/22 - Not a bite
« on: February 23, 2014, 10:49 AM »
Fished 8-1:20 on Saturday perfect weather and a few boats out and didn't get a bite.  We tried long line trolling in the trees by Schoolhouse area in various depths.  Also fished by the ringtail ramp area outside of the no wake buoys around the corner.  Also fished around windy hill.  Tough lake.

Really no wind out there.  Actually, after the meeting most of us were at camp and felt some breeze around 4-6pm.  Halibut warrior was out there then so maybe he can chime in.

Fished up there before the meeting as well. Fished the north shore across from ringtail in deeper water long lining jigs, and cranks. Tried the back of a couple of coves casting into trees catching two bass. Ended up at Y cove for about the last hour before I had to head in fishing in the stick ups. No crappie :banghead:

It was flat calm in Salome from 4-6pm on Sat. Pretty sad when the CPUE is 0.2142 but it was nice weather, great company, and the boat ran good.
