The Bob Hirsch Crappie Classic is set for Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Roosevelt Lake. All activities will be occurring at the Grapevine Group Campground, Coot Loop. This event includes crappie tournament, open meeting, raffle, fish fry potluck, poker game, and campfire. 

We have reserved the Coot loop from Wed, Oct 4 through Sun, Oct 8.

And we've reserved the Grebe loop from Fri, Oct 6 through Sun, Oct 8.

Coot Loop Campsite (Wed-Sun) Assignments:
#1: Scott Wisniewski (Tweakjr) - most likely arriving Thur night
#2: Tom Larson (menrats) - arriving Friday morning
#3: Matthew Picklesimer (AZ Lead Works) -- arrival depends on work, most likely Friday
#4: Florin  Nesiu (PleasantWhiperer) & Andrew Nesiu (Crappie King) -- arriving Thursday
#5: Randy Howton (Slipbobber72), Cameron Gilliam (Crappie whisperer) -- arriving Wednesday night or Thursday

* Mal Hiatt (TreeHauler) unable to attend as hasn't received doctor's approval regarding health issues
* Steve Seivert (Stevert) unable to attend as he is volunteering for youth deer hunt with his family
* Mark Struckman (on the rocks) & Marv VanPatter aren't able to attend as have turkey hunt that weekend
* Art Pusateri (Legend) had to cancel has boat problems so that freed up Coot site #15 for James (Rollo)
* Mark/Marv said they'll come up Friday after work and that Grebe is fine so moved them to Grebe and Scott (TweakJr) to Coot since he's arriving earlier

OK, I need AZCA members to sign up for a campsite now so we can make sure we have enough room for everyone. We have the Grapevine Coot loop from Thursday, October 5 through Sunday, October 8.  But I need to know when you think you'd actually arrive in case we need to book another loop possibly just for Friday and Saturday.  First priority will be given to AZCA members and once members have signed up, we'll see what we have left for the rest. Please only request a site if you're fairly confident you plan on attending.  Please check the original post for claimed camp site numbers.

I will either sleep in a cot and sleeping bag in the bed of my truck or a tent, so I can split a site with an RV, as there is usually room.  Otherwise, I'll take either 8 or 9...

Only reason I didn't make it to Alamo was my back went out om me, so I couldn't move for over a week.
