Hey all, they are doing the C.A.S.T. For Kids event again this year, Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Lake Pleasant. They need volunteers on shore or boat to make it happen as they usually have more interest from kids than boaters. A few Arizona Crappie Association members did this last year and feedback was very positive of the event.

Please don't delay in registering as late registration makes it very difficult for the event organizers and families to plan and run the event.

C.A.S.T. for Kids event designed to provide children with disabilities, ages 6 – 18, the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. Take to the water with C.A.S.T. for an unforgettable morning of fishing and boating!

From Terry: Another PLEA for Boat Captains for C.A.S.T. for Kids at Lake Pleasant on April 29. If every guy who said he would register did register, we would not be 21 boats short right now of taking the 50 registered kids fishing. Come on, guys. Please. we are also 15 short on the Shore Volunteer side. Nonboaters can step up and cover that, easily. A great day. Rewarding event for everyone. Free lunch. Boat Captains get a great gift.
