Bluewater Lake, New Mexico 7/14/2023-7/16/2023

Heading to Bluewater Lake and if we catch a crappie great...but plan will be to catch my first Tiger Musky. Hope to have pictures to follow. Feel free to add any comments is you've fished there before and have any recommendations. Will be camping lakeside.
When in doubt, set the hook!

Whatever you do use a steel leader.  Those TM's got some nasty teeth.

I used to fish there every now and again when I lived in Albuquerque.  Usually going after cats, so no help on the crappie lol.  Good luck!

Tiger Musky are stupid...lots of pretty sunset photos if anyone wants them.
