Finally was able to get a trip out on the lake with Randy Howton of AZ Crappie Sniper Guide service. Randy excels on using LiveScope to target crappie and has a good technique for catching them in the winter when they may not always be in big schools. On the water Saturday March 2 by 7:30am, was concerned of potential wind issues but luckily it didn't get too breezy until early afternoon when we were getting off the lake. We learned different things about this fishing technique and hopefully can use that skill on my next outing on my boat. We caught 14 crappie I think and a couple bass. We missed a lot more mainly in poor reeling or setting the hook on my part. Anyway, fun time and now I have some fish in my freezer. We saw Dave (Desert Rat) out there as well as JT (SlabDaddy), Cameron (Crappie Whisperer), and Florin (Pleasant Whiperer).
